Santa

Will is now starting to get excited.  I guess he did tell santa he wanted a ball.  Which is now a blue soccer ball that santa will get him.  We watched frosty and he asked if santa is going to visit him.  We told him yes.  Then he said "well i need to get to bed then."  Then we tried to tell him it wont be for a while but we will let him know.

Morning wake up

This morning was a slow morning.  Hitting the snooze a couple times.  Lisa showered and then came back into bed without me waking up.  Then down the hallway we heard "hi" followed by Tyler crying.  We heard some little foot steps followed by another "hi" with Will standig at our bed.  That was a very nice wake up especailly since we were 20 minutes late.

Last night as I finished up singing him and tucking him in and tells me "I'll let you out daddy."  He hops out of bed opens the door and waves to me and says "come daddy."  He gave me a hug and kiss said "now go downstairs" and closed the door.  I then could hear his little foot steps and him hop into bed.  He is growing up but now refuses to sit on the potty.

busy weekend

We drove out and picke and cut down a tree Grizwold style.  Except the tree was small, no squirls or sap, but Tylers eyes may have been frozen.

We took care of the first snow to teach Will how to throw and make a snow ball and he wasted no time in playing get Mommy.

Lisa treated them with time at the indoor pool where Will had a great time for a change in the water.

And this is the key reason you should only have 2 children.

I don't know if Tyler was cold even though he had mittens for boots (he's to little for shoes) or just realized that is this is what daddy loves doing I'm in for a long winter.

Little helper

Once again i can't do a project without my little helper.  He asked what the tv mount was.  So i told him it goes on the wall.  He went right into my toolbag and pulled out my pack of dryway anchors...use these daddy?  Then he learned about studs and how to use a studfinder, washers and lag bolts, a variable speed drill, keyless chuck, pliars, why allen wrenches are like screw drivers, and duct tape's real purpose.  And we got the tv mounted an the wall.

Making a mess

Will really enjoyed making a mess... i mean painting this weekend.  It started fine on the paper then onto his hands for hand prints then using the brushes to paint his whole arm.  He really like that but it did require lots of cleanup.

Turkey day err chicken day

Tomorrow is the big roasted chicken day that we wait all year for.  And will still has his sleep over bag ready at the front door for his night at grandma and papas.  Hell also be bringing the Pajanimals dvd for quiet time.  Tyler hasnt expressed his excitement since he keeps his emotions inside.

Tickle time

As i was laying in bed with will lisa was singing to him.  I was tickling him a little.  We stop and he says "daddy where are your hands?"  So i show him my hands and he grabs both of them.  Then he turns to me and says, "no more tickling daddy."  Lisa and i had to bite our toungues.

Playing in the leaves

This is a test

Just wanted to test from my phone
Kicking back after a hard day at the playground.

I can't wait for the playoffs to come back in Chicago.  Lisa may have something else to say.

And we have gone to yellow.

Sleep over time

Looks like Will is all set for his sleepover at Grandma Lynn and Papa's house.  He packed his bag this morning with PJ's, diaper, and bunny and is ready to go.

Skating time

Took will for his first trip to the ice rink.  We laced them up and he was all ready to get on the ice.  And we made it around 1 time before I heard the feared "daddy I don't like it."
